Welcome to my story. I’m Jena Buchan, and across these pages you’ll find tales of me chasing experiences, sharing ponderings, and having some epic fails that have brought great learnings. Based in Gold Coast, Australia, I originally hail from a small country town in upstate New York in the USA. Oz is now home though, where I live in an epic little house we built (or paid someone to anyway) with my partner and some crazy dogs. A university academic and health professional by trade, that’s what I do but not who I am. Writing has always been a passion of mine, as I’m often better putting something in words on a page than spoken out loud, so thought it finally time I step beyond the pages of a notebook. This blog is a gift to myself, pursuing something that brings me joy and smiles, and hopefully parts help inspire you to do the same. Enjoy the adventures full of salt and soul!
